Subject: Report Proposal

Apple's iPhone is the most popular and most demanded phone on the market today. It is so popular that other companies make phones and compare their phone to the iPhone (ex: Verizon Driod). It comes with the capability to run over thousands of apps. AT&T is the sole provider of the iPhone and can use that to its advantage to greater depth. I propose to write a report on how AT&T can use other corportaions to increase their revenue and position themselves atop of the mobile market.

Needs

Mobile phones now are more than just your grandma's version of a phone nowadays
  • Can access multimedia outlets such as audio and streaming video
  • Customer use apps to help with everyday life such as Weather Channel, and Google Maps
  • Other mobile carriers like Sprint and Verizon have opened up to the idea of a 4G network

Verizon Wireless has broken out as the clear cut market leader not because of it's phones. But, because of how they advertise their phones and great network capacity with the help of companies outside thier own market. They use the philosophy you scratch my back i'll scratch yours. So even though they lack to star power in phones like AT&T, with their advertising views they manage to maintain atop the market.

Topics

The proposed report "You Scratch My Back I'll Scratch Yours" will cover the following topics
  • Increase data usage
  • Verizon's partners
  • Advertisement techniques
  • The iPhone effect
